Wednesday, December 22, 1999 Well the Official site has announced that the second season of Animorphs will finally air in February! Also, check out their behind the scenes page. There's a new movie and new pictures. The ones with Brooke have been posted up on the pictures page. And don't forget, today is Brooke's 17th Birthday! Happy Birthday Brooke! :)
Just a note for those who are going to see the KA webcast on the official site this Saturday the 18th, be sure you have RealPlayer installed on your computer, you're going to need it. You can download RealPlayer for free at: http://www.real.com. Information about the webcast can be found at: http://www.scholastic.com
Happy Turkey Day people ;) A tentative episode schedule for Animorphs has been posted up. Don't come yelling at me, this is what I got from Nickelodeon. Animorphs has been renewed for a second season, so we should be seeing the six new episodes, but I haven't a clue when. I'd advise just checking it out on Dec. 5th just to make sure that the schedule isn't screwed up.
Finally new Animorphs episodes in December. I haven't gotten the exact episode air list (I'm pretty sure it'll be the same as Canada, but who knows?) but I did get the new time the show will be airing. It's all in the schedule area. Also, some info about the Nick Flick (I hate the delay in the HR, but what can I do?) there was an article about Nick's expansion into the Telefilm gig and they mentioned some shows that would get the film treatment, however Animorphs was NOT one of them. If I get any more info, it'll definitely be posted ASAP.
I was originally going to revamp the whole site in honor of Brooke's upcoming birthday, but the this slight change in design popped into my head as I was watching the Yankee's parade and I couldn't wait a month. What do you think? Added some more info to Brooke's credit area and for those who want to wish Brooke a happy birthday or happy holidays go to our "Birthday & Holiday" project. The link is on the main page.
Slowly updating Brooke's credits area. All her work now has a date (except for the Honeycombs commercial) and I'm working on detailed info for each. Also tweaked with the main page again. Also, it looks like no Animorphs in October for US viewers. It's mysteriously vanished from the schedule. I'll be keeping the schedule that was previously posted in the Schedule area up just in case they're wrong.
If you haven't been by the official Animorphs site (www.animorphs.com), take a peek and be sure to head over to the TV show area. Brooke narrates the first "Behind the scenes on how they morph" video in the "Behind the scenes" area. Added the November schedule, more reruns for the US, and it seems like Canadian viewers who watch 'Animorphs' on YTV will finish up the second season in October.
Okay, just got back from Boston and checked the tape I popped into the vcr before I left and Brooke is indeed in "Twice in a Lifetime". Screen caps and clips will be coming soon, for now I've updated her credits area.
Spoilers for Changes, part 3 are now up in the S2 spoilers area. Also, checked the IMDB and saw that Brooke has a guest credit in the new PAX series "Twice in a Lifetime", but I'm not sure if it's accurate or not. However her episode "Blood Brothers" is scheduled to air this Sunday Oct. 17 so you can check it out yourself.
Oops. I was randomly checking links and found that the Sci-Fi Teen article linked to the TV review, fixed the link for that incase anyone was wondering. Also, I've been finding my files on other sites that I haven't given permission to, or files that I ask not to be posted on other sites. Please stop and don't do that. I don't want to sound mean, but it's just a pain seeing stuff I worked on posted elsewhere. Thank you. Oh, and on another somewhat depressing note, if the schedule I got is correct, it looks like we'll be seeing a lot of reruns in November.
The November 99 issue of Cracked magazine has a parody of Animorphs. To read it, check out the Chris Ralph site. Also added some season 2 photos from the official site to the gallery.
Not really an update, just renamed some picture files for organization, so if you came across them and they didn't work, try again.
Got the October Animorphs schedule up and bad news, looks like the US premiere of the second season will be in November.
Redid the main page, I couldn't stand all the white. Anyhow, just a tidbit of info, Brooke was nominated for a Young Artists Award (The Golden Globes for Child Actors) for her work in 'Running Wild' this year. Unfortunately she didn't win, Haylie Duff did for her work in 'Addams Family Reunion'. Added the 'Awards' list to her Credits page.
As you've probably guessed from the cover, Brooke [Rachel] does the opening monologue in video 4 'The Legacy Survives'. (Christopher Ralph [Tobias] does the closing monologue). I've put up an .avi clip of it on the multimedia page. Also, for Canadian fans, there's a mini marathon on September 11th. If there's any Canadian fan who can tape it for me and send me a copy, I've got something to trade. Just email me.
Just a note for all the Canadian fans out there, Animorphs starts it's second season on YTV September 3rd. Thanks to Rachel for telling me.
As it says on the main page, Brooke's episode of 'Real Kids, Real Adventures' will be rerunning September 11, 1999 on the Discovery Channel. Haven't been able to put up more pics or clips for 'Running Wild' because I was tying up some real life loose ends. I'll try to work on it this week.
The last two installments in the Animorphs video series will be in stores August 3rd. 'Running Wild' now had a release date of August 10th.
Okay, so no actual update for this site (I'm working on some stuff, really!) but for those who aren't lucky enough to live in Canada or Australia, the Chris Ralph Site (which I also run -- go visit!) has the transcript of 'Face Off' part 1.
Thanks to John for this little tidbit: 'Running Wild' is coming out on video August 11th. Perfect for those who don't have Showtime. In the meantime I promise I will try to get some pics and clips from it before then.
Long time no update huh? No, I haven't abandoned this site! There just hasn't been anything to really update with. Just added the Canadian schedule for July. Also, one request people, I do have other sites (besides the CR one) hosted on this server, so if you could please not link to files (multimedia, pics, etc..) that would really be helpful (and please don't take that as an invitation to just take the files and post on other sites -- that's a bad thing too). The rant below applies up here too. On a happier note -- don't forget the new Rachel book out this month "The Separation".
Covers of the Next Two Videos:
Screen caps from 'Running Wild' will be put up soon (still doing them right now), but first, a little rant that I first put on the CR page:
Animorphs didn't win the Kids Choice Awards, "Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul" (or something like that won). Added more screen caps of Brooke from "Running Wild" courtesy of DaisyTeen and we've got a picture of Brooke with some friends at school thanks to Lauren-Eve.
Added a screen cap of Brooke from "Running Wild" courtesy of DaisyTeen. Also, don't forget that the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards airs tomorrow (5/1) night and the 'Animorph' book series has been nominated.
Grand opening of the Brooke Nevin Website. Enjoy! (I have way too much time on my hands huh?) |
