Wednesday, October 11, 2000 Brooke recently filmed an episode of 'In a Heartbeat' entitled "The Boy's No Good". It'll most likely air later this year or early next.
Did you miss "Changes" the first time around? Nickelodeon is rerunning the NickFlick this weekend on the 19th and 20th. Thanks to ErekChee for the news.
Brooke's latest project is another CBS mini-series entitled 'Haven'. According to Brooke it may air February 2001.
Thanks to Kristen for the heads up on this: You can pre-order Running Wild from Amazon.com (which will be released on August 8). Unfortunately it is only available in NTSC format (US & Canada only).
They've had behind the scenes interviews with everyone else, now Brooke's is up on the official site. Check it out here.
Synopsis of 'Guilty Hearts' from cbs.com: Young, pretty, working-class Jenny Moran (Marcia Gay Harden) was both attracted to and intimidated by Dr. Stephen Carrow (Treat Williams). She couldn't imagine that Stephen would ever be interested in her. But he was. And no one could believe that he would meticulously murder his wife, framing Jenny's husband for the crime, to be with Jenny. But he did. And that was just the beginning.
Brooke's episode of 'The Famous Jett Jackson' is the Disney Channel series' third season opener. Airing on June 17 the plot synopsis is as follows: "Jett (Lee Thompson Young) joins the debate team to impress a girl; on "Silverstone," a computer hacker (guest star Usher) tries to crack a security code."
Not much news going on lately. For those wondering about the KCA results, unfortunately Animorphs lost to Harry Potter in the favorite book series category.
First a little bad news, according to Brooke it is indeed the last season of Animorphs :-( It's been fun to watch though. Now some good news, remember way back in December when we collected Birthday and Holiday greetings for Brooke? Well she did receive them and "was touched by all the messages from the fans". :-)
Not really news, just wanted to remember when I decided to revamp the place... again.
The nominations for Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards are in and "Animorphs" has been nominated again in the 'Favorite Book' category.
Okay, an addendum to the future of Animorphs. It's not really looking good for a 3rd season since there were only six episodes made for season 2 and the show is currently not in production. The press release listed their returning shows with a slate of new episodes, Animorphs is not one of them. (FYI: They are: All That, Angry Beavers, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Blue's Clues, Caitlin's Way, CatDog, Cousin Skeeter, Double Dare 2000, Hey Arnold, Kablam!, Little Bill, Nick News, Oh Yeah! Cartoons!, Rocket Power, Rugrats, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Wild Thornberrys.) It is possible for Animorphs to return with reruns or, if it does well, for new episodes to air as a mid season replacement.
The official site has updated Cyberia again. Photos from the upcoming episodes have been posted on the pictures page.
Well with a six episode second season it was bound to happen. Nickelodeon issued a press release on it's Fall season and Animorphs is not listed as a returning show. This is a Brooke site, so it will stay open, with (hopefully) the latest on her career.
Head over to the official site for some clips from season two! They've updated Cyberia's look with a new cast photo (which I personally like better) and there's also a chat with Chris. I've added some new photos from both the official site and some caps taken by Jeff to the gallery.
I don't live in Canada so can any Canadian confirm or deny this? I'm finally getting around to updating the schedules for Canada, but I don't see any Animorphs listed. In it's YTV timeslot on Fridays I see 'Sailor Moon' and I don't see any listings for Global.
Redid the photo galleries so let me know if anything's coming up as a broken link. Also added a new scan from the video cover. Also, head over to the official site for a clip with scenes from season two.
The official site has a new contest to celebrate the second season. Enter soon, the entries must be postmarked by Feb. 19th: http://www.scholastic.com
I have something new to put up -- an update on what Brooke's been doing from her :) You can find where I previously kinda rambled on the main page.
It's been a while since I had any actual updates, but as it says on the main page, I think this update is worth it. I got a premiere date for the 2nd season and the schedule through March (although it looks like the US is not getting 'Face Off' for some odd reason.) Also, some additional info on where you can get the CCG added to the CCG page.
Decipher has come out with a Animorphs Customizable Card Game (think Pokemon or Magic: The Gathering). I was lucky enough to get a copy and I've posted up my review for it.
Happy New Years everyone! The site's been given a slightly new look to go with the new year :) |
