THIS JUST IN . . .

Take a bow, Pop: Long before he was in the cast of "Safe Harbor" on the WB, Christopher Khayman Lee attended Trantwood Elementary, Great Neck Middle and Cox High schools in Virginia Beach. Maybe you knew him as Chis Potts.

Today, he's an actor with hair down to his shoulders.

Lee, 21, and his sister, Chyler Leigh, 17, both had roles on "Safe Harbor," co-starring with old pros Rue McClanahan and Gregory Harrison. But, alas, the show has been canceled.

That hasn't stopped dad Bob Potts in Virginia Beach from bragging about his kids. Chyler was a seventh-grader here. "They've done incredible things," Pop says.

In show biz, the Potts kids use their middle names.

Son Chris broke into TV as one of the Power Rangers. "It was great. All the stunts. The different gymnastics. But I wanted a show that was more about acting." His "Safe Harbor" was the 13th new show canceled in 1999.
