The Girl by: TaysNygal TaysNygal327@aol.com I always thought it'd be cool if there was a new girl Animorph. As for the psyhicic thing, I thought it'd be cool to have a character like that. I based Danielle from Drew Barrymore's character from the movie "Ever After". No this is NOT written by K.A Applegate, this is just an Animorphs fan fiction. Tobias: My name's Tobias. You know the deal. The Yeerks. The Animorphs fight them. You know who they are. Any ways, the day I met our new Animorph, Danielle started like any other day. I had just eaten breakfast. I spread my wings and flew to the barn for the meeting where I'd meet the new Animorph, Danielle. As I was flying, I heard the Elimist say: "I WILL MAKE YOU HUMAN AGAIN ". "AHHHHH!" I screamed with a human mouth. I was in front of Cassie's barn. Rachel, Cassie, Jake and the most beautiful girl I've ever seen darted out. She was tall, with long flowing light brown hair and the most unusual eyes. Her eyes started out as dark blue then getting lighter so there was a ring of silver at the ends. she looked exactely like Drew Barrymore in that movie "Ever After" but taller and thinner. "Tobias! What happened?" Rachel asked as Marco and Ax showed up. "Inside" muttered Jake. As soon as we were inside I told my story. "Can you morph?" Marco asked. "YES HE CAN. YOU ARE HUMAN AGAIN WITH YOUR MORPHING POWERS. DON'T WORRY I SHALL TAKE CARE OF EVERY THING" the Ellimist said. "Oohhhh that's eerie" Marco exclaimed. "Ok, now that everyone's here, we can introduce Danielle to everyone" Jake said. Danielle stepped foward. "Hi! Umm, I'm Danielle. I guess I'm the new Animorph. Jake and Cassie told me everything I needed to know," Danielle said shyly. "Yea, she acquired some morphs. A cat, lioness and eagle. She's pretty good" Jake said approvingly. "How did this pretty thing become an Animorph?" Marco asked with a grin. Cassie rolled her eyes. We saved her from being a Controller. Also SHE approched us. She's a bit of a psychic and asked if her precognitive dreams were true. So we decided to make her an Animorph." Cassie explained. "Great! So pyschic girl is an Animorph?" Marco laughed. "Hey leave her alone" I said sharply. "Oooooo Bird-Boy has a new crush! Uh-oh Rach, you're gonna have to find yourself a new boyfriend!" Marco teased. Poor Danielle looked as if she was going to die. "Well, I guess the meeting's over" Jake said. Then Cassie's mom came in. "Tobias? Rachel? You're mom said it's time to go." she said. "Oh hello! Cassie, who's your new friend?" "Oh, her name's Danielle" Cassie explained. "Hello" Danielle said quietly. "Hello. Nice to meet you. Cass, dinner's in 5 minutes" Cassie's mom said and left. When she left, we all breathed a sigh of relief. "That is odd. Tobias? You will be living with Rachel?Ax asked in surprise. "yeah, I guess so. the Ellimist probably set it up." I said . "Well, I got to go. bye!" Cassie said and left. Jake, Danielle, Marco, Rachel and I left. We dicovered Danielle lived across the street from Rachel and me which was cool. When Rachel and I got home, her mom told us dinner was ready. When I finally went to bed that night I dreamed of Danielle, the new Animorph. Danielle: My name's Danielle. And I'm a psychic. I'm also an "Animorph". With five other humans and an Andalite named Ax. Yea my life has gotten even WEIRDER. I'll describe the other Animorphs. Jake: you can tell he's a leader, very nice and very intelligent. Cassie: a good friend. She befriended me on my first day ay school and her and Jake saved me from being Yeerked. Marco: VERY sarcastic, suspicious, but smart too. Rachel: very warrior like. it's no wonder her nickname is "Xena",a bit of a shopahoilc. Which is cool. Tobias: VERY cute, a sweetie. I can't belive he stood up for me! Yay! Ok breathe Danielle. And last but not least Ax: odd, doesn't understand humans somtimes but he's an alien so I guess ya can't blame him. A bit arrogent but smart I guess. Tomorrow's my first mission. Jake found out where the Main Kandrona which he told me was a mini portable version of the version of the Yeerk's sun is. Before we attack, we're going to acquire some new morphs. I might wanna acquire a tigeress. Cassie said that would be a good choice for me. I have to go to bed now. Why can't I stop thinking about Tobias? Those beautiful brown eyes and dark hair. Sigh! I guess I have a major crush on him (Note: I'm basing the charater's looks on the actors and actresses from the TV show) good night. The next morning........... Tobias: Well I guess the Ellimist arranged that I was going to live with Rachel and her family. As we were walking to meet up with the other to go acquire some new morphs, Rachel suddenly asked me "Uh Tobias? Do you like Danielle? If you do well that's cool." Oh boy I thought. "I'm sorry Rach. I guess I do a little. But no matter what, you'll stil be my closest friend." I reassured her. Rachel brightened up. "Cool. The same with me. I guess if we can't be boyfriend and girlfriend, we'll still be close friends now and forever" she grinned. We met up with Danielle, Cassie, Jake and Marco. Ax wasn't there for two reasons. One, he'd have to be in his normal body to acquire and that would cause a riot and two all he needs is that tail of his. Trust me, that's ALL he needs. We left for the Gardens were Cassie's mom worked. Danielle acquires a white Siberian tigeress, Cassie acquired an elephant, Jake got a gorilla, Marco a rino. Rachel was staying true to her grizzely but like Marco she got a rino. I acuired a leopard. Then it was time to leave for the M&C Computer company skyscraper where the main Kandrona was held. Ax would meet us there. Jake said it was held on the 40th floor were a popular radio station W600 took place. When we reached the room we were in for a shock. Ax growled. Suddenly we heard footsteps. "MORPH! NOW!" Jake yelped. I concentrated on my leopard morph. As I morphed I could see the changes taking place on the others. Jake was almost half gorilla, Marco had gray skin and a rino horn growing from his foreheaad, Danille was finishing the last changes on the tigeress, Cassie was all elephant, and Rachel just finshed morphing to grizzely. It was complete. I was a leopard. It took me a minuteto get control. Suddenly 8 Hork-Bajir warior appeared! Jake swung his big gorilla fist at a Hork-Bajir and THUD! Down went the Hork-Bajir! Danielle lept on the back of a Hork-Bajir growling. SLASH! Lightning quick she scratched and scratched till the Hork-Bajir fell. Marco charged at his Hork-Bajir and flung him at the Kandrona. BOOM! CRASH! There was a VERY large crack in the Kandrona. Rachel flung her Hork Bajir in to the Kandrona too. Cassie tossed her Hork Bajir into the side of it. "Urhhhh" he said and slumped unconcousness. I knocked my Hork Bajir ot dreamland. Ax slashed at his Hork Bajir and using the side of his tail knocked him into dreamland, too. The remaing Hork Bajir Danielle, Rachel, Jake and I attacked. He was unconcous too. Marco asked. (If you read #7 you'll understand what i'm talking about) Jake said. Rachel asked. jake responded. Rachel demorphed and morphed to elephant. Then making sure no one was out in the back yard, her and Cassie pushed it out the window and it landed in the backyard with a CRASH! We knew the Yeerks would be there soon so we demorphed and morphed to rapaters and flew away. Danielle: Well, this was my first misison. Jake says I was good. I feel a bit bad for the Hork bajir cuz they didn't want to be enslaved. I hopew that one day we'll win. Tobias just came up to me and asked me if I wanted to take a walk around a local park. Of course I said yes. "Oooooooo!" Marco grinned. "Shut UP Marco" everyone said. Cassie and Jake went to somewhere and i saw Marco and Rachel walk off somewhere. "Ummm Danielle?" Tobias said nervously. 'yea what's wrong? " I asked him. "Uh Will you be my girlfriend" He asked nervous. I thought I was gonna die! i didn't respond. I just kissed him. Then we sat on the baseball field and watched the stars. "Someday, we'll win" Tobias whispered as he wrapped his arm around me. I couldn't have agreed more. The end.
